Dec Row 1 (RS):  K to first marker, * SSK, k2, k2 tog, k to next marker, rep from * twice more, SSK, k2, k2 tog, k to end — 94(106-118-130-142-154) sts.  Purl 1 row.  Rep Dec Row 1 once more — 86(98-110-122-134-146) sts.  Purl 1 row.

Dec Row 2 (RS):  K to 1 st before first marker, * SSK, dropping marker, k2 tog, dropping marker, k to 1 st before next marker, rep from * twice more, SSK, dropping marker, k2 tog, dropping marker, k to end — 78(90-102-114-126-138) sts.  Purl 1 row.  Fold piece to WS along turning ridge.

Joining Row (RS):  * Insert point of RH needle through first st on LH needle, then under first st in Garter Ridge 1" below turning ridge, k this st and the first st on LH needle together.  Rep from * until all sts on LH needle have been worked — 78(90-102-114-126-138) sts.  Beg with a purl row, work even in St st for 4" forming WS of casing, end on WS.  Bind off.

Front

Work same as back until Pleating Row has been completed, end on RS.  Knit 1 row on WS for Garter Ridge.  Work even in St st for 1", end on WS — 78(90-102-114-126-138) sts.

Divide for Front Openings:  Next Row (RS):  K27(33-39-45-51-57), join another hank of yarn and k24, join another hank of yarn and k to end.  Beg with a p row, work even in St st using separate hanks of yarn for the 3 sections until piece measures 2" above Garter Ridge, end on WS.

Joining Row (RS):  K across with first hank, dropping the other 2 hanks.  Complete same as back.

Finishing

Sew side and casing seams.  Fold casing to WS to Garter Ridge just above pleating row and sew in place forming casing for tie.  Beg and end at front slit,  insert ribbon in casing, then tie at center front.
