1 Hank Berroco Quasar (100 grs), #8206 Infrared
24” Length circular knitting needle, size 10 (6.00 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
1 St marker
Gauge
15 sts = 4”; 19 rows = 4” in St st

Cowl
With circular needle, cast on 115 sts. Join, being careful not to twist sts. Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up.
Rnd 1: K1, * p2 tog, leaving sts on LH needle, then p first st again, slipping sts from LH needle, rep from * around – 115 sts.
Rnds 2 and 3: Knit.
Rnd 4: * P2 tog, leaving sts on LH needle, then p first st again, slipping sts from LH needle, rep from * to last st, end k1 – 115 sts.
Rnds 5, 6, 7 and 8: Knit. Rep these 8 rnds until piece measures approximately 7½” from beg, or until 5 yds of yarn remain. Bind off purlwise.
