Neala

A classic mitten and scarf set featuring simple garter stitch and ribbing. The scarf features a keyhole pull through for cozy next to neck wear.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Scarf: Approximately 6" / 15 cm wide (at widest point) x 37" / 94 cm long

Mittens: Approximately 8" / 20 cm around hand x 12" / 30.5 cm long (with cuff unrolled)

YARN

BERROCO LANAS QUICK (100 grs): 2 hanks #77201 Cordovan for Scarf and 1 hank #77205 Olive for Mittens

Note: If you wish to make mittens longer, buy 2 hanks of yarn.

NEEDLES and NOTIONS

For Scarf: Knitting needles, size 11 / 8 mm or size to obtain gauge

2 stitch holders

For Mittens: 1 set each double-pointed needles, sizes 10½ / 6.5 mm and 11 / 8 mm or size to obtain gauge

Stitch markers (one a different color for beg-of-rnd)

Waste yarn

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

12 sts and 18 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Garter St on larger needles
