2 Hanks Berroco Vintage (100 grs), #5107 Cracked Pepper (CC)
29” Length circular knitting needle, size 8 (5.00 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge
18 sts = 4”; 24 rows = 4” in St st with MC
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE
Blanket
With CC, cast on 145 sts.
Ribbing: Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Change to MC and work even in St st until piece measures 35½" from beg, end on WS. Change to CC and rep Rows 1 and 2 of ribbing same as at beg. Bind off in ribbing.
Finishing
Edging: With RS facing, using circular needle and CC, pick up and k215 sts along one side edge of blanket. Beg with Row 2 work in ribbing same as on blanket for 5”, end on WS. Bind off in ribbing. Repeat on the other side edge of blanket.
