Wrap yourself in warmth with this ruana knitting pattern. Cables and bobbles flow up the center columns of this layering piece, bordered by garter stitch and finished with an I-cord edging.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Approximately 26 (30, 34)" wide x 32" long down center back (not including edging)

Note: Fronts are 4" shorter than back.

BERROCO MERCADO (100 grs): 8 (9, 10) hanks #4103 Playa

NEEDLES and NOTIONS

24" length (or longer) circular needle, size 10½ (6.50 mm) or size to obtain gauge

2 double-pointed needles, size 10½ (6.50 mm)

4 stitch markers

Waste yarn to hold stitches

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

14 sts and 22 rows = 4" in Garter st

Dhener:

Finishing:Return the held stitches from waste yarn to needles, with the WS facing out, RS together.

I-cord edging should be worked beginning down the center left front and continuing around all edges.
