Note

When binding off sts, each time you come to a marked st, drop that st off needle, allowing it to unravel back down to beg.  Cast on 3 sts and bind these sts off.    BODY

With straight needles, loosely cast on 68(76-84) sts.

Set-Up Row (WS):  P4, * yo, p4, rep from * across – 84(94-104) sts.  Note:  Mark each st formed by a yo.  These sts will be unraveled during bind-off forming ladders shown in photo.  Work even in Pat St until piece measures approximately 26(27-28)” from beg, end on WS with either Row 2 or Row 8 of Pat.

Left Armhole:  Next Row (RS):  K26(32-36), mark for lower edge of armhole, bind off 38(42-48), allowing marked sts to unravel as in note, k to end.

Following Row:  Purl, cast on 38(42-48) sts over sts bound off on previous row.  Mark sts that will be unraveled.  Work even in Pat St until piece measures approximately 14(16-18)” above cast-on sts of left armhole, end on either Row 2 or Row 8 of Pat.

Right Armhole:  Work same as left armhole.  Work even until piece measures approximately 26(27-28) sts above cast-on sts of right armhole, end on WS.  Bind off as in note.

Sleeves

With RS facing, using circular needle, beg at marker for lower edge of armhole, pick up and k92(100-112) sts.  Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up.  Work even in k2, p2 ribbing for 18”.  Bind off in ribbing.
