With straight needles, using Jojoba, cast on 57(63-69-75) sts.

Ribbing:  Row 1 (WS):  P3, * k3, p3, rep from * across.  Change to Barely Blue.

Row 2 (RS):  K3, * p3, k3, rep from * across.

Row 3:  With Barely Blue, rep Row 1.  Change to Jojoba.

Row 4:  With Jojoba, rep Row 2.

Row 5:  With Jojoba, rep Row 1.  Change to Barely Blue.

Row 6:  With Barely Blue, rep Row 2.

Row 7:  With Barely Blue, rep Row 1, increasing 1(0-1-0) st at each end, end on WS — 59(63-71-75) sts.  Change to Oyster and work even in Pat St until piece measures 6(6 1/2- 7- 7 1/2)" from beg, end on WS.

Shape Armholes:  Bind off 4 sts at beg of the next 2 rows — 51(55-63-67) sts.  Work even until armholes measure 4(4 1/2- 5- 5 1/2)", end on WS.  Bind off.

Left Front

With straight needles, using Jojoba, cast on 27(27-33-33) sts.  Work in ribbing same as back for 7 rows, inc 0(inc 2 — dec 2 — inc 2) sts on last row, end on WS — 27(29-31-35) sts.  Change to Oyster and, keeping 0(1-0-0) st each side in St st, work even in Pat St until piece measures 6(6 1/2 - 7 - 7 1/2)" from beg, end on WS.

Shape Armhole:  Bind off 4 sts at beg of the next row — 23(25-27-31) sts.  Work even until armhole measures 2(2 1/2 - 3- 3 1/2)", end on RS.

Shape Neck:  Bind off 4(4-5-3) sts at beg of the next row — 19(21-22-28) sts.

Dec Row (RS):  Work to last 3 sts, k2 tog, k1 — 18(20-21-27) sts.  Rep this dec every RS row 3 times more — 15(17-18-24) sts.  Work even until armhole measures 4(4 1/2 - 5- 5 1/2)", end on WS.  Bind off.

Right Front

Work to correspond to left front, reversing all shaping.  Bind off for armhole on WS row.  Bind off for neck on RS row.  Work neck decs at beg of RS rows as k1, SSK.

Sleeves

With straight needles, using Jojoba, cast on 33 sts.  Work in ribbing same as back for 7 rows, increasing 1 st each end of last row, end on WS — 35 sts.  Change to Oyster and work in Pat St, inc 1 st each side every 3/4(1/2- 1/2- 1/2)" 6(9-12-15) times, working incs into Pat St as sts become available — 47(53-59-65) sts.  Work even until sleeve measures 7(8-9-10)" from beg, end on WS.  Bind off.

Finishing

Sew shoulder seams.

Neckband:  With RS facing, using straight needles and Barely Blue, beg at right front edge, pick up and k57 sts around entire neck edge.

Row 1 (WS):  P3, * k3, p3, rep from * across.  Change to Jojoba.

Row 2 (RS):  With Jojoba, k3, * p3, k3, rep from * across.

Row 3:  With Jojoba, rep Row 1.  Bind off in ribbing.

Left Frontband:  With RS facing, using straight needles and Jojoba, beg at top of neckband, pick up and k55(57-59-61) sts along left front edge.

Row 1 (WS):  P2, * sl 1 WYIB, p1, rep from * to last st, end p1.

Row 2 (RS):  K1, * sl 1 WYIF, k1, rep from * to end.  Rep Rows 1 and 2 three times more, then rep Row 1 once more (7 more rows), end on WS.  Bind off.

Right Frontband (buttonhole band):  With RS facing, using straight needles and Barely Blue, beg at cast-on edge of right front, pick up and k55(57-59-61) sts along right front edge to top of neckband.

Row 1 (WS):  With Barely Blue, P5(3-4-5), * k3, p3, rep from * to last 2(0-1-2) sts, p to end.  Change to Jojoba.

Row 2 (RS):  K5(3-4-5), * p3, k3, rep from * to last 2(0-1-2) sts, k to end.

Row 3:  With Jojoba, rep Row 1.

Row 4 (buttonhole row):  Work 5(4-5-4) sts, yo, work 2 tog, * work 9(10-10-11) sts, yo, work 2 tog, rep from * 3 times more, work to end.

Row 5:  With Barely Blue, rep Row 1.  Change to Jojoba.

Rows 6 and 7:  With Jojoba, rep Rows 2 and 1, end on WS.  Bind off in ribbing.  Sew on sleeves between markers.  Sew side edges of sleeves to bound-off edges of armholes.  Sew side and sleeve seams.  Sew on buttons.
