The two fronts of this vest are worked in a stunning lace pattern before joining to form the back. An I-cord belt sets off this layering piece.
Lace pattern is both charted and written out.

16” and 24” length circular needles, size 8 (5.00 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

NOTE
Fronts are worked first from the bottom up, then a joining row is worked, with sts cast on for back neck. Back is then worked from the top down.

At the end of both the "Left Back" and "Right Back" sections:
Rep the last 2 rows 6 more times, then rep WS row once more. Bind off loosely with RS facing.
In the "Right Back" section:
For sizes 38, 41, 43.5, and 46" ONLY: Next Row(RS): Knit.
For sizes 52.5 and 56” ONLY: Next Row (RS): K1, M1, knit to end – X(X-X-X-63-67) sts.
After Row 2:
Rep the last 2 rows 22(24-24-25-25-26) more times, slipping marker.
