Approximately 4 ½” wide x 66” long
Materials
2 Hanks Berroco Lumina (25 grs), #1655 DeWallen
Straight knitting needles, size 7 (4.50 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge
18 sts = 4”; 28 rows = 4” in Lace Pat
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE
Note
Sl all sts purlwise.
Scarf
With straight needles, cast on 22 sts.
Lace Pat: Row 1 (WS): Sl 2 WYIF, (p2 tog, yo) 9 times, p2.
Row 2 (RS): Sl 2 WYIB, k across.
Row 3: Sl 2 WYIF, purl across.
Row 4: Sl 2 WYIB, k across.
Row 5: Sl 2 WYIF, k2 tog, (yo twice, p3 tog) 5 times, yo twice, p2 tog, p1.
Row 6: Sl 2 WYIB, knit across, when you reach double yo, k the first yo, p the second yo, k to the end.
Row 7: Sl 2 WYIF, p across.
Row 8: Sl 2 WYIB, k across.
Rep Rep Rows 1 – 8 twice more (24 rows total). * Rep Rows 7 and 8 until section measures 4”. Rep Rows 1 – 8 three times (24 rows total). Rep from * until you are near the end of the second hank. End with WS with Row 5 on the 3rd rep of Lace Pat. Bind off purlwise.
