Catch is a corrugated rib hacky sack (knit a few and they're juggling balls).

Materials
1 Ball each Berroco Sox Metallic (100 grs), #1364 Kiwi (A) and #1369 Papaya (B)
1 Set (4) double pointed knitting needles (dpn), size 2 (2.75 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
1 St marker
Small funnel
Small amount of lentils
Tapestry needle
Gauge
30 sts = 4”; 40 rnds = 4” in St st

Hacky Sack
Bottom: With dpn’s, using A, cast on 56 sts. Divide sts on 3 needles and join, being careful not to twist sts. Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up. Knit 1 rnd.
Dec Rnd 1: * K6, k2 tog, rep from * around – 49 sts. Knit 1 rnd.
Dec Rnd 2: * K5, k2 tog, rep from * around – 42 sts. Knit 1 rnd. Continue to dec 7 sts every other rnd in this manner, having 1 less st between decs each time, until 7 sts remain. Break off yarn leaving an 8” long end. Thread end into tapestry needle and draw through all sts on needles. Pull up tightly and secure.
Center Section: With RS facing, using dpn’s and A, pick up and k56 sts around cast-on edge of bottom. Divide sts on 3 needles and join. Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up. Join B.
Rnd 1: * With B, k1, with A, p1, rep from * around. Rep this rnd until piece measures 1 1/2” above cast-on edge of base. Fasten off B and work from here with A.
Top: Work same as bottom until 7 sts remain. Break off yarn leaving an 8” long end. Thread end into tapestry needle and draw through all sts on needles. Do not pull up tightly.
Finishing
Insert tip of funnel into hole at top. Fill hackey sack with lentils. Pull end in tapestry needle up tightly and secure.
