Multi-Color Granny Square Rnd 5 should end [3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1] 3 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off.
Assembly instructions should be updated as follows:
Beginning with a CV4 square, complete Rnd 6 (First Square), then join to a CV2 square using Granny Square Joining (Attaching on 1 Side) instructions below.
Join a CV5 square to the first CV4 square in the same way, then join another CV5 square to the first CV5 square and CV2 square using Granny Square Joining (Attaching on 2 Sides) instructions below.
Continue joining squares using the assembly diagram as a guide.
Rnd 6 (First Square Only): Join MC with a sl st in any ch-2 sp. Ch 3, [2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in same ch-2 sp, ch 1, *[3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1] 4 times; [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in ch-2 sp, ch 1, rep from * twice more, [3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1] 4 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off.
