36" circular needle, size 5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE
20 sts and 43 rows = 4" in Garter Stitch

NOTE
The shawl is worked in 5 separate sections that are sewn together during finishing. All sections include a 1 stitch selvage for seaming. Sew seams through the middle of the last stitch on either side.
