Traditional Gansey construction inspired designer Courtney Spainhower to create this spectacular sweater knitting pattern. Knit in one piece from the bottom up, the bottom hems are curved with short-row shaping, and sleeve stitches are picked up and worked down.

NOTE
Body of this garment is worked in the round from the bottom up.  Lower edge of back and front is shaped using short rows.  Sleeves are picked up around armholes and worked down in the round.
