When finished, you will have 2 large blue, 2 large green, 1 medium blue, 1 small green and 1 x-small blue. Insert head of crochet hook into end of 3rd cord and thread beads onto crochet hook and down onto cord in following order: x-small blue, small green, medium blue, large green large blue, large green, large blue. Straighten out bead and make sure that cord is not twisted. With RS facing, using crochet hook and A, join yarn in first st of short band (where cords join band) and work 1 sc in each sc to end. Turn. Work 1 sc in each sc to end, insert hook into free end of third cord holding beads and sl st, connecting the cord to the band. Fasten off. Weave in ends, reinforcing joining of cord and band. Lay out necklace on ironing or blocking board and pin in place using rust-proof pins. Spray with water, hand shape and allow to air dry. Sew one section of the Velcro to RS at end of long band. Tie the bow and sew to RS at end of short band. Sew the second section of Velcro to WS of short band under bow.
