Jamb
Jamb is a set of miniature sweater keychains that will keep your keys from scratching up your purse contents.
One size
Size
Each sweater approximately 4 1/2” from cuff to cuff x 2 1/2” long
Materials
Blue Sweater (Top Center) – 1 Ball Berroco Sox Metallic (100 grs), #1361 Acai (A)
Orange Sweater (Lower Left) – 1 Ball Berroco Sox Metallic (100 grs), #1375 Guava (B)
Pink Sweater (Lower Right) – 1 Ball Berroco Sox Metallic (100 grs), #1357 Lilikoi (C)
Straight knitting needles, size 3 (3.00 mm) for Blue and Orange, size 4 (3.50 mm) for Pink
1 Set (4) double pointed knitting needles, size 3 (3.00 mm) for Blue
Crochet hook, size 3.00 mm (D)
Cable needle and 2 st markers for Pink

28 sts = 4”; 38 rows = 4” in St st on size 3 needles

Note
The body of each sweater is worked in one piece from lower back edge to lower front edge.
Blue Sweater
Body: With smaller straight needles, using A, cast on 15 sts.
Ribbing: Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Rep row 1 once more, end on RS. Beg with a p row, work even in St st until piece measures 2” from beg, end on WS.
Divide for Neck: Next Row (RS): K5, join another ball of yarn and bind off 5 sts, k to end.
Following Row: Working both sides at once with separate balls of yarn, purl.
Joining Row (RS): K5, cast on 5 sts, drop second ball of yarn and k to end with first ball – 15 sts. Beg with a p row, work even in St st until piece measures same as back, end on RS. Beg with Row 2, work in ribbing same as beg for 3 rows, end on WS. Bind off in ribbing. Measures up 1 1/2” from cast-on and bound-off edges on each side and mark for armholes.
Sleeves: With RS facing, using smaller straight needles and A, pick up and k11 sts between markers. Beg with a p row, work even in St st for 3/4”, end on RS. Beg with Row 2, work in ribbing same as body for 3 rows, end on WS. Bind off in ribbing.
Finishing
Neckband: With RS facing, using dpn’s and A, pick up and k12 sts around neck edge. Divide sts evenly on 3 needles. Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up. Knit 5 rnds. Bind off. Sew sleeve and side seams. With crochet hook, using A, make a chain 3” long. Tie in a bow and sew to center front as in photo.
Orange Sweater
Body: With smaller straight needles, using B, cast on 15 sts. Knit 1 row.
Row 2: * K2, p2, rep from * to last 3 sts, end k2, p1. Rep Row 2 until piece measures 2” from beg, end on WS.
Divide for Neck: Next Row (RS): K2, p2, join another ball of B and bind off center 7 sts, work to end.
Following row: K2, p2, cast on 7 sts, work to end – 15 sts. Rep Row 2 until piece measures same as back, end on WS. Knit 1 row. Bind off. Measure 1 1/4” up from cast-on and bound-off edges on each side and mark for armholes.
Sleeves: With RS facing, using smaller straight needles and B, pick up and k11 sts between markers. Rep Row 2 ten times. Bind off.
Finishing
Neckband: With RS facing, using crochet hook, join B with a sl st in neck edge of sweater. Ch 1, work in sc around entire neck edge, join with a sl st in beg ch-1.
Rnds 2 and 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in beg ch-1. Fasten off. Sew side and sleeve seams. With crochet hook and B, make a chain 6” long. Weave in and out of sweater just below sleeves and tie in front as in photo.
Pink Sweater

SB8
Sl 4 sts to cn and hold in BACK, k4, k4 from cn
Body: With larger straight needles, using C, cast on 4 sts, place marker, cast on 8 sts, place marker, cast on 4 sts – 16 sts.
Row 1 (WS): P2, k2, p8, k2, p2.
Rows 2 and 4 (RS): K2, p2, k8, p2, k2.
Rows 3 and 5: P2, k2, p8, k2, p2.
Row 6: K2, p2, CB8, p2, k2. Rep Rows 1 – 6 once more, end on RS.
Rows 13 and 15 (WS): Rep Row 1.
Row 14: Rep Row 2.
Divide for Neck: Next Row (RS): Work 4 sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off 8 sts, work to end.
Following Row: Work both sides at once using separate balls of yarn.
