6 Hanks BERROCO CIRRUS (25 grs), #2502 Mojave

29” Length circular knitting needle, size 8 (5.00 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Cable needle (cn)

1 St marker

 

Gauge

29 sts = 4”; 30 rnds = 4” in Pat St

TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

 

Pattern Stitch (Multiple of 16 sts)

Rnds 1 and 3:  Knit.

Rnds 2 and 4:  Purl.

Rnd 5:  * Sl 4 sts to cn and hold in BACK, k4, k4 from cn; sl 4 sts to cn and hold in FRONT, k4, k4 from cn, rep from * around.

Rnds 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16:  Purl.

Rnds 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15:  Knit.

Rnd 17:  * Sl 4 sts to cn and hold in FRONT, k4, k4 from cn; sl 4 sts to cn and hold in BACK, k4, k4 from cn, rep from * around.

Rnds 18, 20, 22 and 24:  Purl.

Rnds 19, 21 and 23:  Knit.

Rep these 24 rnds for Pat St.

 

Cowl

With circular needle, cast on 288 sts.  Join, being careful not to twist sts.  Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up.  Work even in Pat St for approximately 14”, end with Rnd 23 of Pat St.  Bind off.
