SIZE
Approximately 7” wide x 48” long (Not including fringe).

MATERIALS
BERROCO OPULENT FX (50 grs), 2 balls #7822 Lacquer (A).
BERROCO MEDLEY (50 grs), 2 balls #8924 Vivoli (B).
Straight knitting needles, size 15 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.50 mm (I).

GAUGE
8 1/2 sts = 4” in Garter St on size 15 needles with A and B held tog.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

SCARF
With straight needles, using 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 15 sts.  Work even in Garter St until piece measures approximately 48” from beg.  Bind off all sts.
Fringe:  Cut two strands each of A and B.  Put strands tog and fold in half.  Using crochet hook, draw center of strands through 1st st on cast-on edge of scarf forming a loop.  Pull the ends of fringe through this loop.  In this manner, make fringe in every other st along both cast-on and bound-off ends of scarf. Trim fringe to even off if necessary.
Note:  For speedier cutting, wrap yarn multiple times around a piece of cardboard that is the desired length of fringe.  Cut lower edge to free wrapped strands.
