FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 36(40-44-48-52)”.

Note: This garment is designed with an oversized fit. Please take this into consideration when selecting your size.

MATERIALS
BERROCO LULLABY (50 grs), 10(10-11-12-13) balls #4310 Rockabye Blue.
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16” length circular knitting needle, size 8.
1 St marker.
1 St holder.

GAUGE
18 sts = 4”; 26 rows = 4” in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

BACK
With straight needles, cast on 81(91-99-109-117) sts.
Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Work in k1,p1 rib until piece measures 3” from beg, end on RS. Knit 1 row for Garter Ridge. Mark beg and end of last row for side slits. Work even in St st until piece measures 19 1/2” from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 3(4-3-6-5) sts at beg of the next 2 rows.
Next Row (RS): K2, SSK, k to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2. Rep this dec every RS row 7 times more – 59(67-77-81-91) sts. Work even until armholes measure 7 1/2(71/2-8-8 1/2-9)”, end on WS.
Shape Shoulders and Neck: Next Row (RS): Bind off 4(6-8-8-10) sts, k until there are 12(14-16-18-20) sts on RH needle, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 27(27-29-29-31) sts, k to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 4(6-8-8-10) sts at beg of the next row, then 5(6-7-8-9) sts at beg of the next 4 rows. AT THE SAME TIME, bind off 2 sts at each neck edge once.

FRONT
Work same as for back until armholes measure 3 1/2(3 1/2-4-4 1/2-5)”, end on WS – 59(67-77-81-91) sts.
Shape V-Neck: Next Row (RS): K29(33-38-40-45), sl remaining 30(34-39-41-46) sts onto holder for Right Side. Purl 1 row.
Left Side: Dec Row 1 (RS): K to last 4 sts, k3 tog, k1. Rep Dec Row 1 every RS row 1(1-2-2-3) times more, end on WS.
Dec Row 2 (RS): K to last 3 sts, k2 tog, k1. Rep Dec Row 2 every RS row 10(10-9-9-8) times more. When armholes measure 7 1/2(7 1/2-8-8 1/2-9)”, end on WS. Bind off 4(6-8-8-10) sts at armhole edge once, then 5(6-7-8-9) sts twice for shoulders.
Right Side: With RS of work facing, sl 30(34-39-41-46) sts from holder onto straight needle. Bind off 1 st, then k to end – 29(33-38-40-45) sts. Purl 1 row.
Dec Row 1 (RS): K1, sl 1, k2 tog, psso, k to end. Rep Dec Row 1 every RS row 1(1-2-2-3) times more, end on WS.
Dec Row 2 (RS): K1, SSK, k to end. Rep Dec Row 2 every RS row 10(10-9-9-8) times more. Complete to correspond to Left Side.

SLEEVES
With straight needles, cast on 37 sts. Work 2 rows ribbing same as for back, then work even in St st until sleeve measures 2” from beg, end on RS. Knit 1 row for Garter Ridge. Work in St st, inc 1 st each side every 1/2” 0(0-3-9-13) times, every 1” 14(14-14-11-9) times, then every 1 1/2” 1(1-0-0-0) time – 67(67-71-77-81) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 18 1/2” from beg, end on WS.
Shape Cap: Bind off 3(4-3-6-5) sts at beg of the next 2 rows.
Next Row (RS): K2, SSK, k to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2. Rep this dec every RS row 7(5-7-3-3) times more, then every other RS row 0(1-0-2-2) times, end on WS – 45(45-49-53-59) sts. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Steam pieces lightly with pressing cloth and hot steam iron. Sew shoulder seams.
Neck Edging: With RS facing, using circular needle, beg at center back neck, pick up and k16(16-17-17-18) sts to left shoulder seam, 24 sts along left front neck edge, 1 st in center st, 24 sts along right front neck edge, then 15(15-16-16-17) sts along remaining back neck edge – 80(80-82-82-84) sts. Bind off all sts. Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams, leaving 3” below markers open for side slits.
