MATERIALS 9(9-11-12-13) Balls BERROCO BOHO (50 grs), #9218 Tuli Teal Straight knitting needles, sizes 7 and 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE GAUGE20 sts = 4”; 25 rows = 4” in St st on size 9 needles TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE NOTEBoho stripes naturally. The stripes will not match up when you are sewing seams. This makes each garment truly unique. BACKWith larger needles, cast on 80(90-100-110-120) sts. Work even in St st for 13”, end on WS. Shape Armholes: Bind off 5 sts at beg of the next 2 rows – 70(80-90-100-110) sts. Dec 1 st each side EVERY row 5(10-10-10-10) times – 60(60-70-80-90) sts. Work even until armholes measure 7(7-7 1/2-8-8 1/2)”, end on WS. Bind off. FRONTWork same as back until armholes measure 1 1/2(1 1/2-2-2 1/2-3)”, end on WS – 60(60-70-80-90) sts. Divide for Front Opening: Next Row (RS): K28(28-33-38-43), join another ball of yarn and bind off center 4 sts, k to end. Work even on both sides at once until armholes measure 4 1/2(4 1/2-5-5 1/2-6)”, end on WS. Shape Neck: Still working both sides at once, bind off 6 sts at each neck edge once, 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once, then dec 1 st at each neck edge EVERY row 3 times – 10(10-15-20-25) sts each side. Work even until armholes measure 7(7-7 1/2-8-8 1/2)”, end on WS. Bind off all sts each side. SLEEVESWith larger needles, cast on 50(50-55-60-65) sts. Work even in St st for 1”, end on WS. Inc 1 st each side on next row, then every 2” 4 times more – 60(60-65-70-75) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 10” from beg, end on WS. Shape Cap: Bind off 5 sts at beg of the next 2 rows – 50(50-55-60-65) sts. Dec 1 st each side every RS row 7 times, then every other RS row twice, end on WS – 32(32-37-42-47) sts. Bind off 2 sts at beg of the next 2 rows, then 3 sts at beg of the next 2 rows. Bind off remaining 22(22-27-32-37) sts. FINISHINGSew right shoulder seam. Neck Edging: With RS facing, using smaller needles, beg at left front shoulder, pick up and k34 sts along left front neck edge, 14 sts along left edge of front opening, 4 sts across bound-off sts, 14 sts along right edge of front opening, 34 sts along right front neck edge, then 41 sts across back neck edge – 141 sts. Turn and bind off. Sew left shoulder and neck edging seam. Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
