Ornament A is a package cut from felt. It is tied with a yarn bow.

Ornament B is a yarn ball wound from sparkly Crystal FX yarn.

Ornament C is a flower cut from felt. We added needle felted embroidery and a decorative button.

Ornament D is a boot cut from felt with yarn laces.

Ornament E is an asterisk shape cut from felt with added needle felting and a jeweled button.

Ornament F is a stocking shape cut from felt with needle felted trim.
Ornament G is a purse cut from felt with yarn handles and a rhinestone button.

Ornament H is a house cut from felt with needle felted door and roof.

Ornament I is a door cut from felt with needle felted window, wreath and a pearl for a doorknob.

SIZE

Approximately 2 - 3 1/2” wide x 3 1/2 - 5” high

Note: Cutting diagrams are exact size (but you don’t have to be exact!)

Yarn amounts are given for the group of decorations as a whole. We used:

BERROCO ULTRA ALPACA (100 grs), #6225 Masa ,#6249 Fennel,#6242 Cobalt Violet, #6234 Cardinal and #6227 Henna

BERROCO CRYSTAL FX (50 grs), # 4708 Kir

Small amts each:

BERROCO ULTRA ALPACA (100 grs), 6286 Verdigris Mix, 6250 Park Bench, 6235 Fuchsia

BERROCO KELTIC (50 grs), 5866 Argyll

BERROCO MOSAIC FX(25 grs), 4619 Rosselini Rouge

Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H)

For A: MC is Ultra® Alpaca Cardinal, CC’s are Ultra® Alpaca Masa and Park Bench

TO MAKE B

Wind a ball of Crystal FX to the desired size and weave in end. Tie on a loop to hang.

To make A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I

BASIC SQUARE

With straight needles, using 2 strands of MC held tog, cast on 19 sts. Work even in Garter St until piece is square. Bind off.

FINISHING

Felt squares by washing in washing machine using hot water and soap. Remove from washer, shape by hand and allow to air dry. Pin patterns to squares and cut out. Trim decorations with colors given above to look like photo. Needle felting tool is used for flower on C, straight lines on E, stripe at top of G, roof and door of H and trim on I. All cords are chains made with crochet hook and 2 strands of yarn.
