29” Length circular knitting needle, size 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

THROW
With circular needle, cast on 261 sts. Do not join.

Establish Pat Sts:  Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 9 sts, p1 * work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 1 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts *, rep between *’s 4 times more, work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, p1, work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 9 sts.

Row 2: Work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 9 sts, k1, * work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts *, rep between *’s 4 times more, work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, k1, work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 9 sts.  Work even in pats as established until 48 rows of Diamond Pat have been completed a total of 9 times, end on WS.  Piece should measure approximately 67 1/2” from beg.  Bind off in pat.
