Approximately 5 1/2" wide x 54" long (Not including fringe).
MATERIALS
1 ball each Chinchilla
(5529 Pomegranate), Quest (9813 Rose Glow),
Mirror FX (9003 Gold/Black), Mosaic
FX (4603 Fellini Mix), Glitz (9710
Raspberry Frost) and Plume FX Colors
(6836 Be Bop).
29" length circular knitting needle, size 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
GAUGE
13 sts = 4"; 28 rows = 4" in Garter St working stripe sequence.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTE
When changing from one yarn to another, knot, leaving 8" long ends.
These yarns form the fringe at each end.
SCARF
With circular needle, using Chinchilla, cast on 175 sts. Knit 3 rows.
Working in Garter St, work stripe sequence as follows:
1 row Quest, 1 row Quest and Mirror FX held tog, 1 row Quest, 3 rows Mosaic
FX, 1 row Glitz, 1 row Glitz and Mirror FX held tog, 1 row Glitz, 1 row
Chinchilla, 1 row Chinchilla and Plume FX Colors held tog, 1 row Chinchilla,
1 row Glitz, 1 row Glitz and Mirror FX held tog, 1 row Glitz, 1 row Quest,
1 row Quest and Mirror FX held tog, 1 row Quest, 3 rows Mosaic FX, 1 row
Chinchilla, 1 row Chinchilla and Plume FX Colors held tog, 1 row Chinchilla,
3 rows Mosaic FX, 1 row Quest, 1 row Quest and Mirror FX held tog, 1 row
Quest, 1 row Glitz, 1 row Glitz and Plume FX Colors held tog, 1 row Glitz,
3 rows Chinchilla. Bind off all sts.
FINISHING
Steam lightly. Trim Fringe if necessary to even off. Additional strands
of fringe may be added at sides if desired to add fullness. Just work
in yarns pleasing to your eye.
