The Elizabeth shawl is a modern version of a Faroese shawl that the protagonist's mother might have made. Our shawl is shown tied behind the back as a modern wrap with a face framing lace edging. It would be equally entrancing draped over one's shoulders or tied around the waist as an over skirt. Read more about Barbara Delinsky's Family Tree in KnitBits #174. |
