BERROCO GLACE (50 grs), 7(8-9-10) hanks #2327 Green Tea.
Straight knitting needles, size 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 4.00 mm (F).
GAUGE
5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1" in St st.

STITCH GLOSSARY
K2SP
K2 tog, then sl st back to LH needle, lift 2nd st on LH needle back over returned st and replace returned st on RH needle (2 sts dec’d).
BACK
With size 7 needles, cast on 95(105-115-130) sts. Work even in St st for 2-1/2", end on WS.
Shape Waist: Dec Row (RS): K2, SSK, k to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2. Rep this dec every 1" 4 times more, end on WS – 85(95-105-120) sts. Piece should measure 6-1/2" from beg. Work even for 1-1/2", end on WS.
Inc Row (RS): K2, M1k, k to last 2 sts, M1k, k2. Rep this inc every other RS row 4 times more – 95(105-115-130) sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 12-1/2" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 3(3-5-7) sts at beg of the next 2 rows, then 2(3-4-6) sts at beg of the next 4 rows.
Row 7 (RS): K3, K2SP, k to last 6 sts, sl 1, k2 tog, psso, k3.
Rows 8 and 10: Purl.
Row 9: Knit. Rep Rows 7-10 3 times more, end on WS – 65(71-73-76) sts. Work even until armholes measure 4-1/2(5-5-1/2-6)", end on WS.
Note: Work decs on right side of neck as sl 1, k2 tog, psso, k3. Work decs on left side of neck as k3, K2SP.
Shape Neck: K22(23-24-24), join another hank of yarn and bind off center 21(25-25-28) sts, k to end. Working both sides at once, work 1 row even, then bind off 4 sts at each neck edge once. Dec 2 sts at each neck edge as in note on every other RS row 4 times – 10(11-12-12) sts each side. Work even until armholes measure 8(8-1/2-9-9-1/2)", end on WS.
Shape Shoulders: Bind off 4(3-4-4) sts at each armhole edge once, then bind off 3(4-4-4) sts twice.
FRONT
Work same as for back until armhole shaping has been completed, end on WS – 65(71-73-76) sts. Work even, if necessary, until armholes measure 3(3-1/2-4-4-1/2)", end on WS.
Note: Work decs on left side of neck as sl 1, k2 tog, psso, k3. Work decs on right side of neck as k3, K2SP.

Steam pieces lightly. Sew shoulder and side seams. Using crochet hook, work in sc around neck, armhole and lower edges. Note: Work evenly so that edging lies flat.
