SIZES
Directions are for women’s size Small. Changes for sizes Medium, Large and X Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust - 36(40-44-48)”.
Length - 19(191/2-20-201/2)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SMART COTTON (50 grs), 7(8-9-10) balls #1328 Mushroom.
Straight knitting needles, sizes 5 and 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16" length circular knitting needle, size 5.
1 St Marker.

GAUGE
21 sts = 4"; 30 rows = 4" in St st with size 7 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

BACK
With smaller straight needles, cast on 95(105-115-125) sts.
Row 1 (RS): K 1 TBL, * p 1, k 1 TBL, rep from * across.
Row 2: P 1, * k 1, p 1, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows until piece measures 11/2” from beg, end on WS. Change to larger needles and work even in St st until piece measures 11" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 5 sts at beg of the next 2 rows, then bind off 2(2-3-4) sts at beg of the next 2 rows.
Dec Row (RS): K 2, SKP, k to last 4 sts, k 2 tog, k 2. Rep this dec every RS row 3(3-4-5) times more. Work even on 73(83-89-95) sts until armholes measure 7(71/2-8-81/2)”, end on WS.
Shape Shoulders and Neck: Bind off 6(9-8-9) sts, work until there are 18(20-22-24) sts on RH needle, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 25(25-29-29) sts, k to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 6(9-8-9) sts at beg of the next row, then bind off 7(8-9-10) sts at beg of the next 4 rows. AT THE SAME TIME, bind off 2 sts at each neck edge twice.

FRONT
Work same as for back until armholes measure 5(51/2-6-61/2)”, end on WS.
Note: Work decs on left side of neck as k 2 tog, k 2; work decs on right side of neck as k 2, SKP.
Shape Neck: Work 26(31-32-35) sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 21(21-25-25) sts, k to end. Working both sides at once, dec 1 st at each neck edge every RS row 6 times. AT THE SAME TIME, when armholes measure 7(71/2-8-81/2)”, shape shoulders same as for back.

FINISHING
Steam pieces (See instructions on page 1). Sew shoulder and side seams.
Neckband: With RS facing, using circular needle, beg at left shoulder seam, pick up and k 16 sts along left front neck edge, 21(21-25-25) sts across front neck edge, 16 sts along right front neck edge and 43(43-47-47) sts across back neck edge - 96(96-104-104) sts. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up.
Round 1: * K 1 TBL, p 1, rep from * around.
Round 2: * K 1, p 1, rep from * around. Rep these 2 rounds for 1". Bind off in ribbing.
Armbands: With RS facing, using circular needle, beg at side seam, pick up and k 96(102-108-114) sts evenly spaced around entire armhole edge. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Complete same as for neckband.
