SIZES
Directions are for women’s size X-Small. Changes for sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 38(40-42-44-46)”.
Length – 221/2(23-231/2-24-241/2)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SMART COTTON (50 grs) 6 (7-7-8-8) balls #1312 Black (A).
BERROCO METALLIC FX (25 grs) 6 (7-7-8-8) hanks #1001 Gold (B).
Straight knitting needles, size 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
24" length circular knitting needle, size 6.

GAUGE
21 sts = 4"; 32 rows = 4" in St st and Stripe Pat with size 7 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

NOTE
To measure length of body and sleeves on this garment, flatten out rolled edges amd measure from beg.

STRIPE PAT
2 rows B, 2 rows A
Rep these 4 rows for Stripe Pat.

BACK
With straight needles, using A, cast on 100(105-110-116-121) sts. Work in St st for 1". Continue in St st following Stripe Pat until piece measures 14" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Dec 1 st each side on next row, then every other row 7(9-11-13-13) times, then every 4th row 1(1-0-0-0) time. Work even on remaining 82(83-86-88-93) sts until armholes measure 71/2(8-81/2-9-91/2)”, end on WS.
Shape Shoulders: Bind off 7(7-7-8-8) sts at beg of the next 4 rows, 7(7-8-7-9) sts at beg of the next 2 rows. Bind off remaining 40(41-42-42-43) sts for back neck.

FRONT
Work same as for back until armholes measure 61/2(7-71/2-8-81/2)”, end with on same row as for back.
Shape Neck and Shoulders: Next Row (RS): Work 31(31-32-33-35) sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 20(21-22-22-23) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 3 sts at each neck edge once, 2 sts twice, then dec 1 st every other row 3 times, AT THE SAME TIME, when armholes measure 71/2(8-81/2-9-91/2)”, shape shoulders same as for back.

SLEEVES
With straight needles, using A, cast on 63(64-65-67-68) sts. Work in St st for 1". Continue in St st following Stripe pat, inc 1 st each side on next row, then every 4th row 0(0-6-10-15) times, then every 6th row 0(9-5-3-0) times, then every 8th row 7(0-0-0-0) times. Work even on 79(84-89-95-100) sts until piece measures 9(9-9-91/2-91/2)” from beg, end on WS.
Shape Cap: Work same as back armhole shaping. Bind off remaining 61(62-65-67-72) sts.

FINISHING
Steam pieces (See instructions on page 1). Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband
With RS facing, using circular needle and B, beg at center back neck, pick up and k 88(90-92-92-94) sts evenly around neck edge. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Work in St st (k every round) as follows: 1 round B, [2 rounds A, 2 rounds B] 4 times. Work 1" more with A only. Bind off loosely with A. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
