FINISHED SIZE
18" x 18" square.

SOLID COLOR PILLOWS

7 - CHINCHILLA SOLID PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO CHINCHILLA® (50 grs), 7 balls #5533 Provence Green.
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
18" square knife-edge pillow form.

GAUGE
3 sts = 1"; 5 rows = 1" in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

PILLOW (Make 2)
With size 8 needles, cast on 54 sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 18" from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Steam pieces lightly (See instructions on page 1). With RS facing out, place 1 pillow piece on top of pillow form and 1 underneath. Pin edges tog. Sew 4 sides of pillow tog with running st.

9 - GLACE SOLID PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO GLACE (50 grs), 6 hanks #2371 Evergreen (MC).
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 1 ball #5363 Midnight (CC).
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (1/2").
18" square knife-edge pillow form.

PILLOW (Make 2)
With size 8 needles, using MC, cast on 81 sts. Work same as for Chinchilla Solid Pillow.

FINISHING
Edging: With RS facing, using crochet hook and CC, join yarn in corner of 1 pillow piece. Working from LEFT TO RIGHT, work in sc around entire pillow piece, working 3 sc’s in each corner. Join with a sl st in first st. Fasten off. DO NOT work around second pillow piece. Steam pieces (See instructions on page 1). Complete same as for Chinchilla Solid Pillow, using MC to sew edges.

10 - SENSUWOOL SOLID PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO SENSUWOOL® (50 grs), 7 balls #6422 Plum (MC).
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 1 ball #5422 Plum (CC).
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H).
18" square knife-edge pillow form.

GAUGE
5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1" in St st.

PILLOW (Make 2)
With size 8 needles, using MC, cast on 90 sts. Complete same as for Glace Solid Pillow.

STRIPED PILLOWS

NOTE 1
When changing colors, always hold color to the left and pick up new color from underneath. This twists yarn so there are no holes.

NOTE 2
Use separate ball of yarn for each color section. DO NOT carry yarn across.

6 - SENSUWOOL STRIPED PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO SENSUWOOL® (50 grs), 2 balls each #6363 Midnight (A), #6533 Provence Green (B), #6371 Evergreen (C) and #6422 Plum (D).
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 1 ball #5371 Evergreen (E).
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H).
18" square knife-edge pillow form.

GAUGE
5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1" in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

PILLOW (Make 2)
With size 8 needles, using A, cast on 30 sts, join B and cast on 30 sts, join C and cast on 30 sts - 90 sts.
Row 1 (WS): Purl with colors as established.
Row 2: Join D and k 1, with A, k 30, with B, k 30, with C, k 29.
Row 3 and all further WS rows: Rep Row 1.
Row 4: With D, k 2, with A, k 30, with B, k 30, with C, k 28.
Work even in St st, moving stripes to the left 1 st every RS row. When 30 sts at beg of RS row have been worked in D, join C and beg another stripe, ending C stripe at left. Continue to work in this manner, keeping color sequence as established, until piece measures 18" from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Complete same as for Glace Solid Pillow, working edging with E.

11 - CHINCHILLA STRIPED PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 2 balls #5363 Midnight (A), 1 ball #5533 Provence Green (B), 1 ball #5371 Evergreen (C) and 2 balls #5422 Plum (D).
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
18" square knife-edge pillow form.

GAUGE
3 sts = 1"; 5 rows = 1" in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

PILLOW (Make 2)
With size 8 needles, using A, cast on 18 sts, join B and cast on 18 sts, join C and cast on 18 sts - 54 sts. Complete same as for Sensuwool Striped Pillow, omitting edging and steaming pieces lightly (See instructions on page 1).

8 - GLACE STRIPED PILLOW

MATERIALS
BERROCO GLACE (50 grs), 2 hanks #2363 Midnight (A), 3 hanks #2533 Provence Green (B), 2 hanks each #2371 Evergreen (C) and #2422 Plum (D).
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 1 ball #5533 Provence (E).
Straight knitting needles, size 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H).
